Current RRR Feature article 11 Questions with Heritage Christian's Claire Freeman   After three state championship victories, HC's floor leader is focused on No. 4 She's the terrific point guard for Heritage Christian that has three state championship rings to her name. Next year she will take her game to Butler in her home town of Indianapolis, but Claire Freeman still has some unfinished business for her senior year. North Central's Amber Harris became the building block for what has become a strong, Indiana-based team that includes some of the Hoosier state's best talent over the past few years. The 2008-09 season is the season the Musketeers have been waiting for, with all of the major pieces in place. Now this long-awaited season has been tempered with a knee injury to Harris, which might keep her out for the remainder of the season.  More...   GLVC looks to build on banner year 11/05/08 02:20 pm by Monte Spiker The Great Lakes Valley Conference had a season for the ages in 2007-08.  Six schools posted 20 win seasons and all six advanced to the NCAA Tournament, a Division 2 record.  Additionally, the GLVC posted an unbeaten record against non-conference opponents during the national tournament, capped by Northern Kentucky's national championship.  More big things are expected in 2009 from the league, with Indianapolis leading in-state hopefuls.  More... to the ELEVENTH season of Indiana girls and women's basketball coverage by the Region Roundball Review! It will continue to be our mission to promote Northwest Indiana girls basketball teams and players, as well as teams and players from all around the Hoosier state, for statewide recognition, college scholarships and national promotion of Indiana girls' and women's basketball.

We hope you will enjoy the Region Roundball Review, and we will do our best to bring you the most complete and timely coverage that we can.  After TEN full years on the web, we have created a number of features on our site. Some areas are dependent upon the start of the season and will be more content-oriented after the first practices and games begin. We ask our visitors to make suggestions, pass along girls basketball news to us, and submit information through our interactive features so that we may make this a valuable resource for fans, players, and high school and college coaches.
